This course is open to all sexuality professionals. It is required for those completing the EDST Sex Therapy Certification.
Pleasure mapping is a powerful tool that can help clients connect and relate to their bodies, especially the unique ways they can experience and respond to stimulation. Pleasure Mapping for Professionals is for progressive clinicians seeking to build or reframe their relationship to this important therapeutic tool, and learn how to use it with their clients.
This course expands common interpretations of “erogenous zones” beyond a list of body parts to include any sensory experience that can bring pleasure - including non-physical. Pleasure Mapping for Professionals is an experiential course for attendees who want to learn a more embodied approach to sex therapy while divesting from allonormative, genital-centered approaches to pleasure.
This course meets the requirements of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for 2 CE credits. These CE credits may be applied toward AASECT certification and renewal of certification. Completion of this program does not ensure or guarantee AASECT certification.
