This course is open to all sexuality professionals. It is required for those completing the EDST Sex Therapy Certification.

In a culture that centers insertive sex and treats orgasm as the ultimate goal, it’s no surprise that people are so anxious and uncertain about whether the sex they have is any good. What is Good Sex? is for progressive sexuality professionals who want to disrupt the scripts, norms, and expectations that are keeping their clients stuck in a loop of disappointment and distress.

This course will help attendees identify and divest from heteronormative, hierarchal constructs about sex and pleasure while building a stronger understanding of why pleasure, play, curiosity, and connection are among the essential ingredients for a satisfying, fulfilling sex life.

This course meets the requirements of the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for 2 CE credits. These CE credits may be applied toward AASECT certification and renewal of certification. Completion of this program does not ensure or guarantee AASECT certification.
